Kamala Harris who is a senator from California along with being a popular prosecutor announced that she will also be running for the US Elections 2020 against the now President, Donald Trump.
Harris, who is 54 years old, is one of the few Democrats to join the Senate after the 2016 elections.
Her campaign will be managed by Juan Rodriguez who also managed Harris’ successful campaign for Senate in 2016. Along with that, her sister Maya Harris who previously served in Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign will be her campaign chair. Furthermore, she will be guided by her longtime strategists Sean Clegg and Ace Smith.
The campaign headquarters will be in Baltimore, Maryland with a second office in Oakland, California. If Harris is elected she would be the first female and Asian American to serve as the President of the United States.
Harris attended Howard University in Washington and the University of California Hastings College of the Law. She then set out on a career as a prosecutor.

Harris chose yellow and red for her campaign logo with the help of her campaign manager Juan Rodriguez.
