Kerstin Emhoff is the first wife of Douglas Emhoff. Douglas Emoff is the husband of presidential candidate Kamala Harris.
While Kamala Harris was a County Deputy District Attorney in the 90s, she was in a relationship with Willie Brown. At the time, Brown was the Speaker of the California State Assembly.
The relationship did not last, however, as they broke up not long after Brown took over the office of Mayor of San Francisco.
At the same time, Douglas Emhoff was happily married to Kerstin Emhoff however things did not work out between the two and the two divorced. However, the couple has two children a son named Cole Emhoff and daughter Ella Emhoff.
Kerstin Emhoff is often seen sharing pictures on Instagram with children Cole and Ella.

In fact, Kerstin refers to them as one big modern family.
Both Cole and Ella share a wonderful relationship with Kamala and affectionately call their stepmother “S-Mamala.”
Emhoff’s son, Cole Emhoff, graduated from Colorado College is working as an assistant at William Morris Endeavor. Ella Emhoff studies at Parsons School of Design as a freshman and even owns a website showcasing her works.
