The office of the controller of Examinations notified today that all the preparations for the upcoming SLC exams have been completed.SLC Exams which is scheduled to begin from this Sunday (Chaitra 10, 2075) has a total of 4,74,987 students appearing from the country.
In this number 4,50,186 students are from the regular side while 9343 students are appearing exams from the technical side. Similarly, 15,474 students are appearing from an upgrade in the grades.
A total of 2,35,439 male students are appearing the exams while 2,38,548 female students are giving the exams this year. The maximum number of students are appearing from Province 3 with the number being 13,460 while Karnali has the least number of students 32,244.
The capital Kathmandu city has 34,879 students which are also the maximum number from a city. Likewise, Manang has the minimum students that being 53.
A total of 1,969 exam centres has been appointed. All the exam materials, documents and necessary guidelines have been delivered tot he centres and the preparation is all complete.
